  1. KNOWN BUGS

  4. Yup, bugs (SIGH!).
  5. Almost every kind of software has some, and this Help File has proved to
  6. be no exception. Thye seem to be pretty minor, though. 
  7.  
  8. 1. This help file may not display correctly in resolutions other than
  9. 800x600. Some people have experienced problems, some haven't.
  10.  
  11. 2. Link and graphics colours may not display correctly on systems
  12. which display more than 256 colours (e.g. 24-bit colour). This is
  13. not serious - all the information is there, but it may just not look
  14. as good as I wanted it to. Sorry, but this seems to be a limitation in
  15. Windows 3.1. I don't have Windows 95, so I don't know about that - 
  16. perhaps someone with Windows 95 will let me know?

  18. 3. On a slightly more technical note, I used the Main Help Window to display
  19. contents information and a Secondary Window to display information. I have
  20. since realised that this should have been the other way around. BECAUSE...
  21. Using the search facility tends to display information in the MAIN window,
  22. instead of the SECONDARY window, like it's supposed to. Once again, this isn't
  23. serious - nothing should be damaged and all the information should be there.

  25. If I have the time, and if I'm sufficiently motivated, I'll try to find ways
  26. around these problems. (THIS IS NOT A GUARANTEE!).
